5/05 “no” with finger pointed at you, “I want more” 4/27-5/3 stomach virus/food poisoning, 5/2 admitted to hospital, x-rays, IV 4/19/05 Peed in the potty after asking to go. 4/14/05 surgery to implant tubes in ears, climbed out of crib, climbed over baby gate (yes all on the same day) 4/13/05 Pooped in potty after asking to go! 3/26/05 Went “swimming” in ocean—LOL, played in the sand at Myrtle Beach, played in the Breakers baby pool—tried to climb in the bog pool 3/20/05 tried sushi—well a California roll—ate 2! 3/19/05 Easter egg hunt, climbing up the slide, going down a tube slide 3/14/05 “where’s mommy?”, “where’s papa?”, “mommy’s bed” - in reference to where she wanted to take her nap 2/19/05 “papa”, she is really trying to talk now, she seems to be picking up new words all the time. 2/14/05 “open mommy” 1st 2 word sentence in reference to small, heart shaped box of chocolates that Grandma Janie gave her for Valentine’s (no I didn’t open it) 2/13/05 “diaper”, other words she is using and don’t know the exact date on: “dog”, “nana”, “open”, “chik chik—for chicken” 2/12/05 “apple” 2/9/05 Right top incisor (the other 3 are also on their way), “ball” 2/05 Doesn’t want to sleep in crib or daddy is a pushover or combination of teething and ear infections is getting the best of her. Naps are becoming difficult too. Any suggestions? 1/25/05 1st terrible stomach virus, ugh gave it to mommy. 1/10/05 climbed ladder on friend’s swing set (big ladder—6-7 rungs) 1/10/05 ate some cookies, dropped some crumbs, used napkin to wipe up mess on table and floor, then threw it away! 1/7/05 said “up” very clearly (now her new favorite word) 12/20/04 She can jump and get both feet about 1/2” off the floor. She has been stealing ornaments off the tree. She broke one. She moves the baby gate out of the way to get to the tree. She steals presents too. 12/14/04 Got a vaccine and barely whimpered—so brave. Knows head, hands and fingers. 12/13/04 now knows eyes, mouth, belly, foot (she sticks it out like the hokey pokey when asked) When you ask if she is stinky she grabs her diaper! Sleeps with taggie, baby and 1-3 blankets. She must have her aquarium on. She can take off her socks and shirt. She runs through the house now. 12/10/04 She has 2 other new taggies—these were handmade at a local shop. She now will carry any of her taggies. 12/1/04 Pointed to her nose when asked (numerous times) 11/29/04 Bronchitis—yuck, but doesn’t know she is sick, thankfully 11/22/04 Did not want to sit on Santa’s lap. He was OK to smile at as long as she was not within 2 feet. 11/04 Starting to really follow directions—when she wants. Will put away a couple toys or get her socks and shoes. 11/6/04 New pink taggie. Doesn’t want it. 11/3/04 Filled play cup with water from freezer door and gave to nana. Got water all over floor in process. 11/2/04 Discovered the toilet has water in it—keep those lids down 10/31/04 Church Halloween Carnival—fed “elephant”, went “fishing”, blow pop pull, bean bag toss 10/20/04 Trick or treat as Kitty Cat 10/23/04 1st Arby’s roast beef sandwich, loved it! 10/22/04 Said “night-night” before nap 10/21/04 LTN—Myrtle Beach, saw the ocean and beach for first time, drug hand in sand and then ate it! 10/18/04 New baby doll with bottle, paci, medicine/shot. Knows what to do with it all. Doesn’t like baby to wear hat. 10/10/04 first pumpkin patch visit 10/9/04 toe nails painted pink 10/7/04 figured out how to get water out of refrigerator 10/3/04 Puked all over mommy at Carolina Wings and Ribs 10/2/04 Susan G. Bottom lateral incisor. Runny noses suck Dec/Jan Trying to crawl, but so far only going backwards 12/1/03 Rolling both ways very well now (she kind of forgot how to go tummy to back for awhile) 10/19 graduated to size 3 diapers |
